Do you have a student in one of our three fall performing groups?
We are now taking pre-orders for show shirts for each of the three fall performing groups! Show shirts are $15 each, and are available in S, M, L, XL, and XXL (adult sizes only).
There are two ways that you can pre-order your shirts:
1) Pay online via DSMA website. You can fill out the quantity of each show shirt you want by filling out the text fields IN FULL and paying online on the Student Payments page on the DSMA website. There are separate sections for Winds, Guard, and Percussion shirts. Please be sure to fill them out with your student’s name, the total quantity of shirts your family wants, and the amount of each size that you would like (example: Student Name, 2 Medium 1 Large). If you are ordering shirts from multiple performing groups, just list the sizes that you would like in the appropriate sections when filling out the form.
2) Pay via check or cash. You can fill out this Google Form and put the check or cash in an envelope with your student’s name on it along with “Show Shirt Money” and have your student place it in the black DSMA box in the music office. The Google Form will email us with your name and shirt order when you submit it, so you don’t need to worry about printing it out and putting it in the envelope with the money.
If you pre-order and pay online through the DSMA website, you do not need to fill out the Google Form. Only cash/check orders need to fill out the Google Form so we can have an accurate count of how many shirts we need to order for each group. Once pre-ordering is complete, we will have a LIMITED number of additional shirts available. This is to ensure that we are able to keep overall costs down. Logo Clothing Update
Mr. Flint has had a new logo designed for the music department, and the various performing groups within it, to be used on all logo clothing orders. The new logo has just come in from the designer, and we are working on getting a logo clothing order ready for everyone. We’ll send out ordering information as soon as it’s ready, and we appreciate everyone’s patience while we prepare things for an order for this year’s
group.
Texas Roadhouse – Oct. 12, 2020
Dine-In or Out – From 3 pm to 8 pm at Texas Roadhouse 131 Faunce Corner Mall Rd, Dartmouth. Families will have the choice of dining in or calling in their order for takeout.
Texas Roadhouse will donate 15% of your total food purchases to the Dartmouth School Music Association. Please be sure to present this flyer at checkout.
Fall Flower Fundraiser Oct. 3-4, 2020
The Dartmouth School Music Association has teamed up with Lawrence Family Greenhouses to bring you an amazing Fall Flower Fundraiser. Stop by From 9 am – 5 pm on the weekend of October 3 – 4 to purchase all of your fall flower and pumpkin needs. 25% of your total purchase will be donated back to the DSMA. Tired of cooking?
On September 21, 2020 from 5pm – 9pm, Let Chipotle take over dinner preparations while helping your favorite student musicians. There are four ways to guarantee your purchases count:
- Show the cashier a digital flyer prior to paying
- Print and show the cashier a paper flyer prior to paying
- And, my favorite way, Order online and pickup Chipotle for your fundraiser by using the Promo Code XCYTF73 on the Chipotle app or website. Please note that fundraiser online ordering is only valid through pickup during your fundraiser’s scheduled date, time, and assigned restaurant. Ordering delivery for fundraisers is not permitted at this time.
- Finally, if you find yourself without a flyer, you can mention the fundraiser to the cashier prior to paying.
Bracelet Fundraiser Extended!
Due to popular demand, the deadline to get your personalized bracelet has been extended! For a donation of $25 (or more), you will receive a custom bracelet with inscriptions such as, “Music Lover”, “Band Mom”, “Orchestra Mom”, etc.
Some examples of what is available are pictured below. However, you can personalize your bracelet with any wording of your choice using this order form.
You don’t have to be on Facebook or join the group to order, you just need to fill out the order form and submit $25 at the DSMA website on our payments page.

2019 Corporate Sponsorships Are Now Available!
2019 sponsorships for our marching band and indoor groups is now open for enrollment!
In 2018, tens of thousands of people throughout New England and the east coast all the way to Dayton, OH saw the logos of our corporate sponsors on our trucks as they traveled to competitions. All three of our show shirts also featured logos from our sponsors, and those shirts have proudly been worn all over the world (yes, the world!).
An organization the size of ours relies heavily on fundraising and the support of our community, and our sponsorship program helps us proudly display the logos of businesses who value the role music education and performance plays in our public schools.
Also, families who sign up corporate sponsors will receive a 25% assessment per sponsorship that they sign up! WOW!

Gillette 2017-2018 Schedule Posted
The volunteer schedule for the Gillette 2017-2018 season has been published!
To volunteer for a shift and help earn money towards your child’s assessment, please click this link, and you’ll be taken to the online form where you can sign up. Please fill out the form in full, so we have all of your contact information, along with the student who you are volunteering for so we can make sure their assessment is credited for your hard work..
Remember – families are requested to work two shifts per child. Our stand at Gillette provides almost $40,000 each year to the DSMA, if we do not fully staff our shifts we will lose that money we all generate for our kids.
Volunteer shifts are fun and the time passes quickly! Events the DSMA is assigned include Patriots games (both regular season and preseason), Revolution games, UMASS football, concerts, and more!
And don’t forget, just about anyone can volunteer to help staff the booth, and earn money towards your student’s assessment. Parents, siblings, aunts and uncles, family friends… they’re all welcome to help staff the shift and keep our nationally recognized program running.
