The meeting will be immediately following the rehearsal that afternoon. Important information and schedules will be shared, along with information about summer fundraising events to help support the program.

We look forward to seeing you all there!

Congrats to DSMA board member Tim Enos!

Congratulations to DSMA board member and long-time volunteer Tim Enos for being named one of 10 Wendy’s Community Ambassadors nationwide! Tim is currently the Ways and Means Chair for the DSMA, and also has been running concessions and props for the past few years. Wendy’s recognized Tim with a presentation at a national meeting earlier this week, and will be donating $2,500 to the DSMA in his name. THANK YOU Tim for all of your hard work, and dedication to our kids and our music programs. The award was well deserved!

Parent’s Night Out fundraiser – December 15, 2017

Our popular Parents Night Out has returned for another year!

Take advantage of a night of babysitting to do some holiday shopping, go out for dinner or a movie, or just get a few hours of peace and quiet!

Children will enjoy games, crafts, pizza dinner and drinks, and a fun, family-friendly movie while being supervised by adults and student volunteers.

Costs are $15/one child, $30/two children, or $45/three or more children from the same family.

Babysitting fees must be pre-paid no later than one week prior to the event. Reservations can be made by contacting Lisa Perry or Greg Jones.

Thank You to the Bristol County Sheriff’s Department!

The DSMA would like to extend our gratitude to the Bristol County Sheriff’s Department for graciously offering to help provide lighting for our marching band home show on September 30th. The safety of all performing students and attendees is paramount, and the additional lighting the Sheriff’s Department will be providing will allow all the drop off areas and warm up fields around our stadium to be fully lit.

Thank you again for helping make our home show the best experience possible!

Pancake breakfast tickets WILL be available at the door!

Our Pancake Breakfast is tomorrow morning from 8AM-11AM at Dartmouth High School. Some family members and music supporters let us know that they weren’t able to get tickets from band students in time, so we WILL have tickets available at the door.

So if you didn’t get a ticket, you can still come on by the high school to have a delicious breakfast for just $8! Pancakes, sausage, bacon, coffee, milk, and OJ… yum!!!

We hope to see you there, and thank you for helping support the music program here in Dartmouth.

Chipotle Fundraiser on September 26

Our Chipotle fundraiser is coming up in just a few weeks. Anyone can participate and help us raise money for our music programs.

To take part, simply print out this flyer and bring it with you to Chipotle on State Road in Dartmouth (across from the Dartmouth Mall) between 4-8PM on September 26. Chipotle will donate 50% of your entire purchase to the DSMA!

Be sure to spread the word to your family and friends so they can help support music in the Dartmouth schools!
