HIGH SCHOOL CONCERTS @ DHS AUDITORIUM

*Students should arrive 30 minutes prior to their concert time.*

CONCERT DRESS FOR ALL GROUPS Tops: Black shirt (shoulders covered) Bottoms: Black (knees must be covered) Shoes: Black or dark color (no sneakers)

There will be an admission fee of $3.00 at the door for adults. This goes directly to the music programs. No one will be denied admission into the concert. Your support is needed and greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please contact your child’s teacher or call the music office at 508-961-2750.

Drum & Bugle Corps info December 5

The 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps is holding an open house experience camp at Dartmouth High School on December 5th.

It is free for all Dartmouth Students. There is a special link that is attached in order to register free of charge. This is a great opportunity in our community to find out more about drum corps and to see what it takes to audition for one.

Holiday Concerts 2021

Our high school band, chorus, Harmonix & orchestra will be performing together on Wednesday, December 15.

The concert will be at 7:00 p.m. and will take place at Dartmouth High School. Students should arrive by 6:15 p.m. It is important that we are warmed-up, tuned and ready to go at 7:00 p.m. Please do your best to report on time.

Concert dress for all groups:

  • Tops: Black shirt with sleeves Bottoms: Black (knees must be covered)
  • Shoes: Black or dark color (no sneakers)
  • Masks are mandatory.

Students are allowed to bring 4 people per family (not per student). Due to COVID guidelines, masks are mandatory for all students and guests. Guests will be able to enter at 6:30 p.m. There will be an admission fee of $3.00 at the door for adults. This goes directly to the music program at the high school. Are you a DSMA member?

Please support the DSMA by becoming a member! Or just renew your existing membership!  Deadline is approaching fast! Dues are just $15 per year for each family household. Membership will run from September 1, 2021, to August 31, 2022. Anyone is welcome to become a DSMA member to help support the program, you do not have to have a student actively involved to join the DSMA. In fact, we have many members who’s students have long since graduated, and continue to support the program. 

The DSMA meets bi-monthly at Dartmouth High School.

In order to vote at the annual meeting, you must be a paid member by October 31st and be 18 years of age or older.

DSMA awards scholarships to qualifying Dartmouth High School seniors who are the children of DSMA members, and successfully submit their scholarship application. Membership must have existed for three years, one of which is the student’s senior year, and must be renewed before Oct. 31st of the student’s senior year.

Volunteers needed for concession stand

In order to get the food stand opened, we need help to get it cleaned up!

Ken Richard, our Concessions Chair, plans to be at the stand Saturday, July 31 from 9 am-11 am to get things ready for the Cadets performance. Anyone who is able to lend a hand to help clean is more than welcome to come!

We will also need some volunteers to help run the stand for a few hours on August 2 in the late afternoon/early evening. If you are able to help clean or would like to volunteer to help during the Cadets performance, please email Ken directly kenrichard@dsmahome.org.

The itinerary for this week’s rehearsals and performances can be viewed and downloaded from this link. It has been posted to the BAND app, and our online calendar has been updated as well.

Please be sure to read the itinerary for information on arrival/pickup times and student uniform guidelines. Any questions about uniform criteria should be directed to the appropriate staff member for their section (Winds – Mr Flint, Percussion – Mr Aungst, Guard – Addison). 

Any Winds student that still needs a white t-shirt can either purchase one directly online here on our website, or you can print out this order form and return it to the DSMA box in the music office along with payment. If you order/pay online, please remember to note the student name AND the size when paying. 

PLEASE NOTE! As of this time, families are NOT allowed in the stadium to watch the performances. If/when this changes, the music office will send out an update.

Second Nationals Logo Clothing Order

Thank you to everyone who turned in their logo clothing orders -and so quickly!  All of the orders received by the deadline were placed the Saturday before Thanksgiving based on parent requests to have their logo clothing gear for the Holidays. Orders already placed will be available in time for the Holidays!

BUT…not to worry if you did not make the first deadline!  There will be a second Nationals Logo Clothing order so that you can show your spirit for our National Champions!
